28in. nitro barrels, raised matt ribs with ovals at the breech ends gold-inlaid '1' and '2', (no.1 rib loose), tubes engraved 'R. BLANTON. MARKET PLACE. RINGWOOD. HANTS.' and with acanthus scroll details at the breech ends, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 (No.1) and 1/2 and full (No.2), treble-grip actions, toplevers with ovals gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties, cocking-indicators (No.2 gold-inlaid), bold border and acanthus scroll engraving, brushed finish overall, 14 1/2in. stocks including 1 1/2in. wooden extensions (with some inking to match), weight 6lb. 7oz.
